Michael is a mature entrant to the Bar, having previously had a successful career in industry. His commercial experience means that he has a particularly empathy with issues in the areas of employment and contract. Having completed pupillage in Manchester Michael is now building a practice in the Midlands as he lives in Worcester. His practice is mixed and he accepts instructions across a broad range of Chambers’ work.
The civil part of Michael’s practice includes personal injury, road traffic and credit hire matters as well as employment, general contract, domestic landlord and tenant and professional negligence. He provides advices on liability and quantum and will make himself available to discuss matters in conference.
On the crime side of his practice Michael has both defended and prosecuted in the Crown and Magistrates’ Court, including the Youth Court. He has also appeared on behalf of the Probation Service.
He has appeared the County Court in Fast Track and Small Claim Track matters. He has also appeared in the County Court in Infant Approvals and in the Employment Tribunal.
His immigration practice involves representing Appellant’s at the First Tier and Upper Tribunal.
