Graham was called to the Bar in 2004 and is a member of Lincoln's Inn.
Graham is dual qualified having prior to being called to the Bar, he practised as a solicitor/solicitor advocate. He was senior partner of a well known Birmingham firm for a number of years before leaving to practise as a freelance advocate. In addition he sits as a Deputy District Chairman of the Social Security and Child Support Tribunals.
Up to 2002 in addition to his other work he sat as deputy Coroner for Dudley. During his time in private practice as a solicitor he accumulated a wealth of experience in diverse areas of law which has stood him in good stead at the Bar and given him a comprehensive knowledge of law than is normally the case.
As a solicitor advocate he frequently conducted trials in the Crown Court both for the prosecution and defence and has successfully taken appeals to the Court of Appeal.
He specialises in criminal law in the Crown and Magistrates Courts, family law (children and ancillary relief); mental health review tribunals, general civil matters, representation or advice in relation to appeals to and from the Social Security Appeal Tribunals.
He also broadcast on the Ed Doolan Show where he would speak on legal matters and family mediation and answer listeners’ questions.
